Guest guest
Great! Looking forward to it! (new member and new recipes) I've been meaning to introduce myself.- Lynn here. Done this vegetarian thing a few times. First time- drank and smoke, was 22 and thought I was cool. Was skinny, though. Also worked out for hours per night because I didn't have anything else to do. Tried it two times since, and I gain weight both times (post quitting smoking) and I really want to get it for all the right reasons. I have meat eaters in the family- the kids, the husband. One daughter wants to be vegetarian- hates veggies though, so we can't do that. I love everything about it, but the weight thing, I've really got to loose it. Anyone else hearing me with this? Help! Guest guest
hi lynn, Congratulations on having a go again, it can be a difficult choice especially if the other people in the house hold are not veggies. Maybe your daughter will start to like veggies once she gets used to the different flavors. Are you substituting cheese for meat. It's a very common mistake for vegetarians to make & it will make you gain weight. Be sure to do a lot of research on nutrition, & eat a variety of foods. You might even consider going to a nutritionist, but I would definately keep a food journal until you figure out where the problem is. -Vicki , " lsparling3 " <lynnsparling wrote: > > Great!
