Hello all,

 

I'm really excited about joining this group. I was a vegetarian in college in

the mid-90's, but I was pretty much a junkfood vegetarian (replacing the meat in

my diet with yet more refined carbs, basically) and developed some nasty health

problems because of it (depression and gall bladder disease). Now, I'm back in

school studying to become an alternative medicine practicioner and have adopted

a whole foods, mostly vegetarian diet that I am working on making totally

vegetarian and maybe even eventually vegan. I want to get rid of reliance on

grocery stores and return to living on healthy, organic storable pantry foods

and vegetables and fruits. I'm looking for simple, inexpensive, healthy

vegetarian recipes that I can use and share with future clients. :-) Thanks

for having me!
