Guest guest
CRAZY CAKE 1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tsp. vanilla 6 tbsp. oil Sift dry ingredients into ungreased 8 inch square cake pan. Make 3 holes in dry ingredients. Pour each liquid into a hole. Pour 1 cup cold water over all ingredients and stir with a fork until evenly blended. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Crazy Frosting 1 1/4 c. sugar 4 tbsp. cocoa 4 tbsp. cornstarch 1 1/4 c. boiling water Pinch of salt 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch in saucepan. Add water and salt. Cook on high heat until thick. Remove form heat and add butter and vanilla; stir well. Cool. Cover top of frosting with Saran Wrap or wax paper while cooling to prevent skin. Makes enough for a large sheet or 2 layer cake. Conscience is the inner voice that warns us somebody may be looking.
