Guest guest
OOPS, Sorry i realised after reading it again, the question came from the U S, so i doubt if you can get Atora, but it is worth checking. However, i remember before i found Atora veggie suet if i needed to make dumplings or 'suet pastry' i used to put my measured amount of Hard butter or margarine( not spreadable), it tastes better than shortening, into the freezer overnight until it was solid then grate it into a little of the flour to coatit(like shredded suet is coated with flour) then add it to the mixture, handle the fat as little as possible so it doesn't melt. hope it helps.
