Guest guest
I have made them 2 ways, 1. Traditional taco seasoning package, substitute meat with walnuts. I crushed half the walnuts, and lightly crushed the other half. it makes them more like ground beef, some chunks, some pieces. that leaves you with the taco filling, add rest of taco stuff. 2. 1/2 Cup Salsa, Can Black Beans(drained), Can diced tomatoes(not Drained), Walnuts mostly crushed,(none bigger then the black beans) simmer till all warm and less juice, and its ready to go. that's ready to be burrito's or nachos. add lettuce and shells for taco's MMMM James > I will have to try some walnuts in tacos > sometime; what a unique idea. > > ~ PT ~ > > > > I just had Walnut Taco's the other night, and man were they good. > > just followed my not used anymore ground beef taco recipe , and the taco's came out great. > > the walnuts didn't take as long as ground beef to brown (lol) > > > > James > > >
