Guest guest
I bread the skallops in Italian Bread Crumbs and fry. Serve with cocktail sauce or tarter sauce. They are delicious. I don't bother dipping them in egg before the Italian bread crumbs, because they are already wet from a thin broth in the can with them, so it stick well. I'm glad you found the Worthington Hot Dogs. Which ones did you end you end up with? The Vega-Links, the Big Franks or the Linketts? Judy - James Allen Monday, August 11, 2008 12:15 PM Re: Skallops question Tofu dogs I fry them crisp. They are good by themselves but I like to add them to oriental dishes, stroganoff, etc. On Mon, Aug 11, 2008 at 8:59 AM, Audrey Snyder <AudeeBird wrote: > Ok, I found the Worthington hot dogs this weekend -- YUM!!!! Guest guest
One HyVee in town (which is a regular grocery store, I think they're only in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa, they have large Health Market sections and they're much cheaper than Whole Foods) had the Vega-Links, so that's what I got. They also had the steaks, anybody had those? But the store across town had a huge section of Worthington products, I was very excited! I may be living on hot dogs for a while, they're so good! Does anybody know how well those hot dogs do if you freeze them? I'm single and won't go through a whole can at once!
