Guest guest
Sorry but just need to vent. I had yet another 'wonderful' dining experience today. Went out to a new place with friends and for $8.95 got a their version of a veggie burger - a thin slice of avacado, onion, tomato and lots of lettuce slapped between a bun. You know what, I don't consider that to be a veggie burger unless I go to a fast food place like Burger King and order their 'whopper no meat' which I've done in a pinch. I've been a vegetarian now for over 15 yrs. and it really irritates me to no end that even here in Calif. resturants put things like this on their menus. It's like the mushroom burger I got two years ago - two slices of bread with sliced raw mushrooms between them. DUH! I'll never go back to that place to eat again. If they want my business what's wrong with taking some time to put some thought into offering customers like me a decent choice? Yes I should have questioned the waitress more throughly before ordering but after while you just get tired of it. And I'm sick of people who ask " would you like chicken or fish instead of the beef? " when you tell them you don't eat meat. I'd love to turn tables on the idiot who came up with this veggie burger idea. I'd love to slap a piece of raw hamburger between a bun , plop it on a plate and stick it in front of him/her and charge them out the you know what for it! Thanks for listening, I just needed to vent and I know if anyone understands, this group does. Complaining to someone who eats meats would be like a golfer complaining to me about problems with their game. I don't golf so I wouldn't understand!
