Guest guest
Hi all, I don't think it is necessary to let those members remain. I'm not sure a moderator can remove messages, but I would think they can remove members. Maybe someone has the inclination to step forward. Guest guest
Nobody here can elect, appoint, or just jump on and become a moderator unless they are given the power by the group owner. The group owner has been missing for literally YEARS now and thus far has not responded to any of us that have offered to take over this group since the have obviously lost interest. We did end up starting a new group called 2 and it is moderated and spam-free. We could use all the good quick veg recipes and advice people want to share. Unfortunately, unless the original owner of this group pops back online to appoint a new owner/moderator, then this list will continue to be plagued with spam... Nothing we can do about it. Guest guest
Hi all! I am new here, but thought I would mention that only a owner or existing moderator can change a member's status to moderator. I was able to join without approval, so this group is not managed at all. I recommend starting a brand new group that is private and requires approval for entry, publisize it here, and then move to the other group. Being in a public forum with no active owner or moderator is dangerous. I will remain long enough to see if someone starts a new group, but I will not remain here permanently. Too many crazies out there, ya know? Kerri , " pacoloso3 " <pacoloso3 wrote: > > Hi all, > I don't think it is necessary to let those members remain.
