Soy burgers/ the consistency problem

Can anyone give me good hints to make a better one. I cook the

soybeans, then out them in the blender. I put tomato/soy sauce,

spike, saute onion/peppers and garlic. It taste good alright. For

two cups of cooked soybeans I use less than a cup of oats. This

seems to be the problem, the consistency. I dreaded using more oats

because I want to get protein in there. I thought some might use

whole wheat flour too? I had a soyburger that tasted like a log in a

cafe, seems to be all grains, not good!

if you mash some swede and carrots and bind the mixture that way, and make

it quite wet then add the flour that works !x!

If you're vegan, this won't help, but a lot of people use egg whites for

consistency. Egg whites help hold the burger together.
