Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone knows how to make vegan honey mustard. Or even how to make your own mustard, cause then couldn't you just add agave nectar? Thanks Melissa
Guest guest
i have never made my own mustard before, but it sounds like you are on the right track with your version of vegan " honey " mustard. i like coarse ground mustards, and the brand in my icebox right now says it has vinegar, water, mustard seed, salt, horseraddish powder and red pepper, in that order. You could play around and use some wine in place of the vinegar. For a vegan honey taste you might als try some brown rice syrup or molasses. i love mustard so i am sure whatever you come up with will be yummy. Maybe some of our experienced vegan members will weigh in on the subject and give you better ideas.
