And it’s a great choice for a protein component in your diet, because like Melissa mentioned, it’s a complete protein. There are also some really yummy prepackaged quinoa side dishes in my local grocery store, with the seasonings already combined in the package, etc. I can usually find them in the organic/vegetarian section, or with the couscous, pilafs, etc. They’re really convenient when I want something quick.
