Guest guest
That is the next kitchen device on my wish list. i used to have a toaster oven and i used it all the time up until it died a tragic death. It lived a long life, served us well and the funeral was lovely. *lol* i was just shocked when i went to price them how spendie they have come to be. They are worth it i suppose in the versatility. *itchy to go shopping now* As far as crockpots go, i own two. One rather large old Rival brand and a small el cheapo $5 one i got on sale at Wal*Mart last Yule holiday. i love them for making soups and stews. If you can get to yard sales or thrift shops like Goodwill, you can often find the older crocks, which are far superior than the new versions which people complain heat too hot and cook too fast. ~ pt ~ The three most beautiful things in the world: a full-rigged ship, a woman with child, and a full moon. ~ Scottish Triad , melanie naylor <melly0s> wrote: > I don't have a crockpot but I went and bought a > toaster oven for those hot summer days. it doesn't > heat up the place as much the big oven and cools down > faster also.
