toaster oven; was: Dinner last night...

That is the next kitchen device on my wish list.

i used to have a toaster oven and i used it all

the time up until it died a tragic death.

It lived a long life, served us well and the funeral

was lovely. *lol* i was just shocked when i went

to price them how spendie they have come to be.

They are worth it i suppose in the versatility.

As far as crockpots go, i own two. One rather large

old Rival brand and a small el cheapo $5 one i got

on sale at Wal*Mart last Yule holiday. i love them

for making soups and stews. If you can get to yard

sales or thrift shops like Goodwill, you can often find

the older crocks, which are far superior than the new

versions which people complain heat too hot and

cook too fast.
