Guest guest
This morning we hied ourselves to the Famer's Market, and home came we with: Four red bell peppers. Two huge eggplants (at least three pounds each.) One bunch of parsley. Six ears of corn. Eleven purple onions. One head of Romaine. Nine big red tomatoes. Three huge avocadoes (about a pound each.) One half pound of mushrooms. Total cost: $15.50. I love the Farmer's Market! Mail is new and improved - Check it out!
Guest guest
Good for you! *s* Sounds like a fun time. i love our local grower's market, too. Not only do they have fresh organically grown local produce in abundance, but you can actually meet the people that are passionate about growing the food. When i shop the organic section of large supermarket chains the produce looks weak, limp and lifeless~ certainly a huge contrast to the fresh, bright, and vibrant produce i find at the grower's market. ~ pt ~ The bluebird carries the sky on his back. ~ Henry David Thoreau, naturalist and author (1817-1862) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~> , reptile grrl <reptilegoddess> wrote: > I love the Farmer's Market! >
