Guest guest
i'm with you on this topic, Sherri. i believe in using sugar and other foods in moderation. Too much of any one thing is bad for us and i am glad there are many choices for us to make. i like raw foods but i also enjoy cooking too much to go 100% raw diet. i think those that choose to live that way, then good for them. While i enjoy learning about the choices we are all making, i don't like people trying to push their views or calling us ironic or whatever because we have made an informed choice different from their choice. ~ pt ~ The three ruinations of a tribe: a lying chief, a false judge, and a lecherous priest. ~ ancient Irish triad ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~> , Sherri <sherria@o...> wrote: > I suppose it's a topic of discussion because some of us have different > opinions from yours, and I think we're entitled to them. Guest guest
PT, Since a healthy, balanced, diet varies from person to person, I don't think that there is a recipe for the perfect diet, muchless lifestyle choices. I believe in promoting empowerment and have found that by allowed my offspring to make their own choices, they were not muddled or held back by my expectations. There are many paths... , " ~ PT ~ " While i enjoy learning about the > choices we are all making, i don't like people > trying to push their views or calling us ironic > or whatever because we have made an > informed choice different from their > choice. > > ~ pt ~
Guest guest
While I eat a raw food diet, I do not force my children to eat that way, nor my wife. They are all vegeterians. It is unrealistic to expect children, who have peer pressure issues to contend with, to have to eat raw foods. In a world that still scoffs at vegeterians for the most part, how would it be if they went to a party or an event with their friends and there was nothing for them to eat. All things in time. What you do is teach correct principles and let people govern themselves.
