Guest guest Posted June 28, 2004 Report Share Posted June 28, 2004 i have a cup or two of dried chickpeas in the mini crockpot cooking now. i much prefer them to the canned version, but i am certainly not above using canned in a pinch! This brings me to a question for the group. When you buy canned beans which is your favorite brand? Are there some you have found horribly salty or mushy? i am going to cook up a dish of Arabian Spinach saute. i'll type up the recipe and post it later.
