Guest guest
hi, ashena-- well, these days, there's a big trend towards " flexitarianism " , which as far as i can tell is someone who eats vegetables along with their meat. the true meaning of the word vegetarian is " one who eats no meat. " a vegan takes it a step further and eats no animal products (dairy, eggs, honey, etc). then there are a lot of classifications beyond that-- raw foodists, fruitarians, sproutarians, etc. it all depends on how far you want to take it. the most important thing, though, is that you make sure your diet remains balanced and healthy. there are some great meatesque foods out there. my favourites are tofurkey sausages (and other tofurkey products), veggie ground round, veggie pizza pepperoni, veggie canadian bacon, and veggie breakfast sausages (the last 4 items are made by the yves company). let me know if you need any more help with your conversion-- welcome aboard! melody http://www.flawlessfitness.com http://www.melodysmusic.net
