LoL I must be one of the only people on earth that dislikes peanut better. When I was real little my teacher would complain to my mom b/c I wouldn't eat my lunch until she started packing something other than PB & J lol. I'll have to look for some of the other nut butters though. Everything is worth a try I suppose. I was to lazy to fix myself anything to eat the other day. not even a sandwhich or sliced cheese and apples lol. Lucky momma didnt feel much like cooking either when dinner came around so since I wasn't in the mood we did in fact go out. Of course we went to a chinese place where there wasn't anything that technicaly qualified as vegetarian on the buffet I picked the meat out where it was obvious and it was better than nothing. I was really tired yesterday for some reason so it probably wouldn't have matter what was set on my plate. I would have eaten it anyway. Feeling much better today though Although we are having our house painted and thats no fun lol. I hope they get finished with the kitchen or my mother will be driving us to KFC for sure. ~Leia
Guest guest
At first my family wouldn't accept my vegetarianism either. They didn't take it as hard as yours, but still. I just cook vegetarian dishes I like in large batches, (like rice with vegetables and cheese or something), and keep it in the fridge. That way, if there's only meat in the meal, I have a backup. Sometimes I end up eating just the sides, though. (Green beans and a biscuit, anyone?) Edventually, my family gave up when I just refused to eat the meat they offered to me (or more correctly, forced upon me). It wasn't fun, but they couldn't shove it down my throat and they got used to it after a while as long as I didn't complain. Good Luck!
