Guest guest
Hi David! Are you the same one that makes the wonderful artwork collages? (formerly of San Fran?). If you are I must say I truely love your work. Even if you aren't he, welcome to the list and I enjoy reading your posts. namaste ~ pt ~ When we know about our ancestors, when we sense them as living and as supporting us, then we feel connected to the genetic life stream, and we draw strength and nourishment from this. ~ Philip Carr-Gomm, 'The Druid Tradition' ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~> , " david* " <hempprince> wrote: but will try to keep up with emails at least [co- > moderate WorldVegs too]. > If anyone wants to check out my work, follow the links on my > profile... > Cheers, David*
Guest guest
pt, Thanks for the nice comments... good to hear my work is appreciated:]. I was running low of funds in SF and decided to visit my ailing mum in Texas panhandle after my Halloween artshow in October. Of course, after I left, I started getting modeling offers in SF [23.hr] but am glad I made certain connections there. I accepted a job in Canyon Lodge [Yellowstone] which starts on Saterday and lasts until October. There are lots of students from around the world that come work for the season so there's a nice cultural exchange besides lots of natural beauty. I am not sure what I'll do after the season though I was offered work in Eugene when I get back. I don't really feel settled anywhere so I could work seasonal jobs and travel if I wish. Btw, I spent 8 months in Takilma [near Cave Junction] before returning to Eugene in '89 and found the area very beautiful. When there, I took part in protests concerning illegal tree-cutting and what I considered mismanagement of our forests. I have been blessed to live in several natural environments which I find inspiring. I was caretaking above the Yosemite in '86 and have checked out many forested areas since besides fun travels in western Europe. The experiences help me to create from first hand impressions. Am really glad for you and your efforts, PT. Cheers, David , " Feral " <terebinthus> wrote: > Hi David! Are you the same one that makes the > wonderful artwork collages?
