I won't post this entire article because it was 4 pages long, but I

will give a gist as to what it is about, for those interested. There

is a movement out there to use selective breeding to develop

different genetic varieties of food crops that is an organic

alternative to what Monsanto is doing. In fact, one of their goals

is to wipe out Monsanto's way of doing things and go farther than

they are, but with the added result of helping to develop strains of

crops that are utilized by the poor and giving the info away.

Instead of snipping and adding genes from different species to a

crop, they instead utilize the genes of their wild cousins and

selectively crossbreed them back to each other, just as farmers did

to create the varieties we eat today, but faster and cheaper, because

this is done a lab setting. Here is the link if you want to learn
