Guest guest Posted May 14, 2004 Report Share Posted May 14, 2004 here is a typical situation. now I hope I aint the only one here who has to deal with this.lol. anyway there are many good frozen vegetarian dinners out these days. they have a real lovely picture. then you look at the label and you see ONLY 4 GRAMS OF PROTEIN OMG. no problem all you gotta do is add 1/2 to 2/3 of a cup of edame(green soybeans) either mixed in or on the side with some salt or soysauce. they are very good. I did this the other night with an amy vegetarian stirfry with 7 whole grams of protein in it. lol. sorry for sounding like a vegetarian martha stewart lol. btw I've been here over a year at least and I've noticed no one,unless I missed it, has contributed any recipes using edame beans and they taste so much better than tofu and are better for you. just a thought. oh well enough of my babbling. stay cool, Dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
