Guest guest
Hi, Thought I'd share this. There is a restaurant/pub located in Upperville, Virginia, 50 miles west of Washington, DC, which was the nation's first restaurant to receive an animal rights group's certification for a menu with humanely raised and slaughtered fare, from the beef stew to the shepherd's pie. The name of this establishment is Hunter's Head Tavern, and they have a farm where they raise the animals. The animal rights group is Humane Farm Animal Care, along with the Humane Society of the United States and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Can yall believe this one? Its in our paper today! Its hard to read, but it believes in treating the animals humanely before they KILL them. oy vey. What are your thoughts??? I know what mine are hee hee Becky ps, I am in Winchester Virginia
