Guest guest
A fellow Oregonian here! I transplanted to Oregon from upstate NY though. I understand how you might be deeply affected by having watched the recent atrocities of humans killing other humans and how it might make you contemplate the big picture, thus making you wish to lean more towards the enlightened path of veganism. Bravo to you, and blessings on your journey. I am glad you decided to share that with us so we can take part in helping to encourage you along. I invite many people to this list from the peace & non- violence interest list on because many of them either are already vegetarians or can understand vegetarianism within the context of hoping for a more peaceful and harmonius planet. Oh, dh stands for dear husband usually. namaste. ~ PT ~ The first rule is to keep an untroubled spirit. Guest guest
Oregonians, kewl... I moved to Oregon in '87 and into Eugene in '89 after living in the woods. I find it much easier to practice a vegan or vegetarian diet here than most parts of the country. Ptown, Eugene, Corvallis, and Ashland especially cater to those into healthy and alternative lifestyles. It was great raising childred in a bicycle, pedestrian friendly area where people actually smile at each other. I came to Oregon after having lived in Virginia 6 years and 1 year above the Yosemite [caretaker]. Anyway, I've had some great treks into natural areas and have done my share of activism though that never stops. I do the best I can with the knowledge I've gained. :] waves, David* http://profiles./hempprince PS. Am going to spend June through Sept in Yellowstone working by the canyon [hospitality] in case anyone's planning a vacation. , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll> wrote: > A fellow Oregonian here!
