Olive Oil cake - anyone tried?

It's been a very long time since I've had the time to check in with

this list. Just did a little perusing, insteresting stuff being

discussed although it seems some of it has come full circle since I

joined.

Anyway, recently I've come across (in magazines, cookbooks and

perhaps on line) recipes/discussion/articles on Olive Oil cake. Has

anyone tried it? There is a recipe in Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone

and I'm thinking of making it for the dessert for your Cinco de Mayo

celebration.

 

Any feedback would be great, my s.o. says it sounds terrible.

Yeah, full circle and then some with many topics.

That's alright, its all good as they say out here in

the west.

I would be prone to agree with them on the

sounds of this recipe just judging it by the title,

of course. *lol* What other ingredients are in

this cake?
