Don't laugh, but you can fill pillows with them, to make a sort of

bean-bag effect.

 

Also, if you have like TONS of them, you could use them the way people use

mulch or stones as decoration around the base of plants or along bases of

houses, etc.

 

Pour some into a large mug and stick pencils down in them; nice pencil

holder. Pens too. And they work great to hold up artificial flowers.

 

They'd be a good packing material to keep things safe in shipping but are

of course too heavy for mailing that way.

 

You might try roasting some of the beans you got on a cookie sheet at 450

degrees for an hour or so, or even in the broiler, and see if that

improves the flavor of the coffee they make.
