Well. As far as Dr. Mercola goes... he does his share of marketing,

as well as vegetarian-bashing. You just got to sort out the

information worth evaluating, as opposed to the marketing garbage.

And, as for information being " dated " , well duhhh... has Splenda

somehow " improved " as of late? New studies, showing there are no

reactions, and that it is safe as distilled water? :-) I don't think

so, If so please post them, I'd like to read them.

I posted this because: I started researching it, because a special

friend of mine has been having reactions. He started having these

strange rashes and headaches. He drinks that Fruit2O junk all the

time. I believe that's the cause. FWIW. You wanna drink it? Do so.

Not me. I'll take sugar any day as opposed to chemicals.

Sorry to read about your friend's health troubles.

Has he heeded your advice and stopped drinking

that beverage? If so, has he seen any improvement

in his condition? I do hope he seeks medical advice

and finds help soon.

One of my friends used to get headaches alot and

soon after she stopped drinking diet sodas made

with aspertame they went away. It might be a

coincidence, but several times when she dared to

drink another soda she got a bad headache again,

so just figured it was a food related thing and now

avoids products containing artificial sweeteners.
