Guest guest
I found a recipe for what looks like a really yummy tamale pie on one of my mailing lists, but it calls for ground turkey. I'm sort of stuck about what to substitute for it, since I'm not really a fan of any of the " ground meat " substitutes I've tried. Without something, though, I think it's going to be too runny. The recipe has onions, poblano peppers, black beans, tomato sauce, taco seasoning and the gr. turkey for filling, with a cornbread crust and cheese melted on the top. So, does anyone have any suggestions? I'll try some variations, and post the " non-violent " version of the recipe if it turns out well. -- Sherri " Power corrupts ... but absolute power is really neat.
