Guest guest
I have often wondered if the sheer size of this list somewhat intimidates people. Personally, I have never felt shy about posting to any list, no matter the size; imagine it is the illusion of anonymity. The list has been mostly a joy to host and watch grow over the year and half it has been around. I know I have benefited from the information shared here; not to mention all the wonderful recipes. I don't know many vegetarians in real time, so having access to these " cyber communities " has really been a blessing. I enjoy this list especially, not just because I host it, but because if I ask a question within hours I typically get several helpful answers! I find my sig-quotes from books I read, magazines, and some from quotes in other people's signature lines. I have gotten some by searching the many wonderful quotes sites that one can find by just doing a google search, but predominantly the ones I enjoy the most are from books I have read. ~ PT ~ It is the season now to go About the country high and low. ~ Robert Louis Stevenson, 'Underwoods' ~~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> replying to this post: " radcsusa " <radcsusa Re: Just for fun: roll call the very thought which occurred to me, for which reason i sometimes hesitate to post. but quite a feat building something a list that meets that kind of response. on an unrelated subject, where do you get your endquotes from? are they pulled out of linux fortunes or something?
