Guest guest
ROFL! Yeah, that stuff happens here, too. We now take turns with who gets to light the candles, and the phone can be answered, but the person on the other end must be informed that it is dinner time and that whoever will call them back, and the dogs are in their kennels, the cats asleep on our beds.... and that is a perfect day and rare indeed. Last night my son (10) made a spoon out of aluminum foil and kept trying to set salt on fire by holding it over the candle flame; some science experiment they did in school that he felt should be reinacted at home during dinner! It is always something! *lol* ~ feral ~ It is easy to be pleasant when life flows by like a song, but the man worth while is the one who will smile when everything goes dead wrong. For the test of the heart is trouble, and it always comes with years, and the smile that is worth the praises of earth is the smile that shines through the tears. ~ Irish saying ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~> , rwhitt1212@a... wrote: > Yes, that sounds wonderful but it would end up with my kids all fighting over > who was going to light the candles or who could blow them out....then > knocking over the drinks all over the table and if I'm lucky the dishes don't get > broken. That is if the cats or other critters doesn't beat them to it!
