Waiter

At Olive Garden our waiter, was it Kev? He was a Kansas boy and talkative;

missed his family and saw mine, and responded when we proved lively and

witty.

 

When he found out we were vegetarian he asked if he could ask why. I said,

mainly health. I mentioned my heart attack, then said, Health came first

but the ethics come soon after that. He was open to it and seemed

genuinely interested.

 

He's going to the college where my son will go soon.

 

Not sure we made a convert but I'm pretty sure we made him curious enough

to look further into going veggie.
