Guest guest
Sounds good, Karen. My Grams always boiled the cabbage with turnips, carrots, potatoes and ham (bleh on the ham). Now I just skip the ham and turnips and add some liquid smoke and one chopped leek, it was delicious. I even had some reheated for lunch today. I like lots of freshly ground pepper on mine, but the dh likes vinegar sprinkled on his. So, did you go out drinking out on the town? *lol* I stayed home, listened to my Celtic music CDs, and read 'A Mist Filled Path' by Frank MacEowen. ~ PT ~ There are three sorts of privilege: natural privilege, privilege of office, and privilge of land. ~ triad from 'Laws of Hywel Dda' ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~> , " bluetulipz " <bluetulipz> wrote: > Yep, yep..celebrating today to the fullest extent..wore my fav green > shirt, thrown back a few apple-flavored (green) jolly ranchers and > am about to make some boiled cabbage to go along with dinner so > we'll be fully prepared for a night of drinking out on the town.
