flexitarianism, the part-time vegetarian

I completely agree. It's great to hear that so many people are

incorporating vegetarian meals into their diet. Sometimes a change in

culture happens slowly and sometimes it happens with a bang. This is

a positive step to more people cutting meat out of their diet and

finally noticing that we can live w/out it. I know many people

who " dabble " with vegetarianism and are very aware of all the

diseases hitting farm animals.

 

Interesting word they chose to describe it.

Yeah, I like it too. I am always happy when people

decide to make a shift from eating dead animals every

day of the week to being open to more meatless meals.

I also find that by having some specific terms like

pescatarian, pollotarian, lacto-ovo vegetarian, vegan,

now flexitarian (and more), that it helps people understand.

The more mainstream these terms to describe different

dietary and lifestyle choices become, the easier it will be

for us. :)
