Denise,

I looked at the ingredients on Quorn's website. The grounds and the

lasanga are the only quorn products which have malt extract in

them. The grounds are only made out of the quorn fungus, egg

whites, and malt. Perhaps you have an allergy to malt / barley

products?

Hm. That is interesting. I have never tried the

Quorn " beef-like " products before and never had

an illness trouble with the more " poultry-type "

items they make. Your idea about Denise having a

malt allergy is something to consider though.

Hmmmm, that's really interesting. I'm not aware at all of any food

allergies I have, but I do know that with my GERD and IBS I do have

to be careful with how food is processed/cooked. I wonder if it's how

the malt/barley is processed?

Thank you for sharing, I will definitely look more into it.

cheers,

Denise
