Guest guest
Before I became a vegitarian, I noticed I would get violent, almost immediate (within 20 min.) intestinal problems every time I ate out. My restaraunt options kept narrowing. Sometimes at home when I would eat meat I would have the same problem (especially with chicken). So I quit eating all animal or aquatic meat Now, I've noticed, I have the same reaction if I eat a veggy salad at most restaurants. It's probably bacteria, but I believe there is also a preservative element because I have the same reaction to pre-packaged salads. On the other hand, I can eat organic vegetables straight from the vine, with no reaction. Go figure! So yes it is inconvenient being a vegetarian- I sometimes find myself resorting to celery and toast (preferably ezekiel 4.9 brand), and peanut butter for dinner __________MORE________ While I have your attention The sweetners used in most diet drinks are chemically deadly to the body. I don't have any links, handy, but there are plenty of them out there. I used to consume Diet Dr. Pepper excessively. After stopping and I've had a major and very specific health benefit from that change: If anyone is having bladder control problems and consumes more than even a few onces of soft drinks with this sweetner, consider dropping the all forms of Equal. Even if you are currently being treated with some of those meds we see advertise on TV, Just drink water. If your water is nasty from the tap, find a botttled that you like, or better yet, Filter your tap water (We double filter- live in the Fort Worth, Texas usa). Our water taste swampy from the tap, iut after using two filtering devices, it taste great.
