Oh my...a mango tree. One of my fondest memories as a child is

climbing up in my Great Aunt's banana tree in St. Augustine, FL and

having a banana right there. Mangoes are by far my favorite fruit. I

can only imagine how wonderful it must be to have fresh, vine-

ripened Mangoes. You certainly have my envy!

Yeah it was great while we lived beneith the

mango tree. But those days are behind us.

We live in Oregon now, so no mango trees and

the only ones we can get are the hard icky kind

in the grocery stores that don't have half the juice

and flavor of our Hawaiian tree.

I only regret that I didn't appreciate them more

when I lived there. I would get so annoyed when the

fruits would fall from the tree and splatter the

ground and the juices would bounce up and splash

my clothes I had hanging to dry on the line! *lol*

Those were the days...
