Guest guest
Go right ahead. In fact, please do. The more people who know about this the better. Tyson goes to great lengths to cover up their activities. They don't want anyone to know what happens in those slaughter plants. The more people who find out the truth, the greater the likelihood that something will actually finally be done about it. They are actually literally sitting back and laughing, mocking the fact that nothing has changed, even though I went public with the story. These folks have no conscience at all. Everything is about production=PROFIT$. I was able to get a very few changes made, but mostly the horrors are still occurring. Although I highly doubt that workers are still getting away with blowing up chickens with dry ice bombs! I was told by someone that was stil working there after I left and came forward that the supervisors had threatened to fire anyone caught doing anything like that again. Of course, the legal horrors still happen. Chickens are still scalded alive, their legs are still broken to fit into shackles that are too small, etc. They can pretty much do anything they want since the chickens aren't protected by any laws, including the Humane Slaughter Act. If you are not too squeamish, go to my blog and read the early entries in the archives. Then pass that info around. It's hard for even a meateater to justify condoning that kind of cruelty. Virgil " The Cyberactivist " http://cyberactivist.blogspot.com/ The worst sin toward our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them: that's the essence of inhumanity. -----George Bernard Shaw Sometimes the majority only means that all the fools are on the same side. ---- Unknown Whenever you find you are on the side of Majority it is time to pause and reflect. -- Mark Twain , nadiana1@a... wrote: > hi to ashley and virgil! > > wow, virgil, i really hope to see more posts from you-- i am SO impressed by > your story. i hope you don't mind if i pass it on to some other folks? > you're kind of like another howard lyman. > > melody > > > > http://www.melodysmusic.net > > >
