Guest guest
I have a wonderful site for everyone, no matter your political views. http://www.vote-smart.org What I really liked about this site is that it can show even your local town candidates and it only lists facts. Great way to get to know your candidate by his/her information without a bias spin on it. RMS dave <dave4sale wrote: I LOVE Dennis Kucinich but this just isn't going to work. He is losing the primaries. It's not his fault, it's just that people are well, dumb. They don't focus on the politician's positions, they focus on how the candidate looks (Dennis is short and he's got bad hair), his military record (Kerry is a veteran), what the media has to say about him (the media has never taken Dennis seriously, the same way they trash Nader), or simply how other people are voting (no one likes voting for a " loser " or " throwing their vote away " ). The green party will get maybe 4% of the vote; Assuming Kucinich gets their votes, how is that going to beat Bush? Kerry is the lesser of two evils, the same way Gore was. By actually encouraging people to refuse to vote for Kerry all you do is help Bush. I don't agree with all of Democrats claims that Nader " stole " Florida from Gore. The Supreme court did. If anyone is to blame it is all for Gore's loss how about the 50% of Americans who didn't even vote. These people don't even vote because they're convinced their vote " doesn't count " (and sure they Could be right); I have a friend or two who actually thinks they're making some sort of political statement by not voting. " If you vote, you're just giving legitmacy to the system " . But the fact is, politicians don't care if you and a few of your Green buddies don't vote. As long as their candidate wins, they would be happy if three people voted. So I'm just not seeing the point. If Kucinich can't even win his own state (like Dean did) how could he win the country? , " Sarah Rhubarb " <sararinni> wrote: > HI! > Ok, I bit the bullet and authored a " gentle " petition to the DNC, for > all people who didn't feel ok with the first petition.
