Guest guest
You know, I don't think I've seen that brand around here. I may have had their pepperoni when I used to live in California. I remember having some that was in a tube like that. Mmmmmm. I've noticed that what you can find in the store is regional. In CA, I used to get the Yves crumbles at any ol' grocery store. But I don't see them here. Actually, Boca was scarce when I moved here in '98 (Atlanta). Now the supermarket chains carry a good selection of Boca, Morningstar Farms and Garden Burger. This year, though, I made the commitment to drive about 15 minutes and go to Harry's Farmer's Market. It was a local chain here that was bought by Whole Foods. I just got tired of the minimal selection and nasty quality of the produce at regular grocery stores. Harry's always had great produce with lots of organics, tons of ethnic foods, etc. but now they've got lots more veggie specific foods. Although one weird thing...they've got every kind of tofu you can think of, tempeh, but no seitan. I can't figure why they don't carry it. I suppose I need to harass them.
