Guest guest
Hi. My name is Jim and I'm new around here. I was sent an invitation to join and I was just wondering how I was selected to receive this invitation. I'm glad I got it (although I am extreemly hungry now that I've been reading some of the recipes here). But I really would just like to know how you guys knew I was interested in joining up when I didn't even know it myself? In fact, I didn't even know you guys existed (but I'm happy to have found you)
Guest guest
I can answer your question, but first let me welcome you to the group. This is a great bunch of helpful vegetarians and other folks that enjoy vegetarian cooking and discussion topics. I hope you will enjoy your stay and participate in discussion as well. I gather names of people from the interest lists. Typicall I visit the 'vegetarian' and 'vegetarians' lists daily and copy the names of the newbies, then paste them into an invite that i send from this address via So, has your email address on file and does all the sending, etc. It is a very simple and effective way to find others that might enjoy this list. You must have added your name to an interest list on that I frequent in my quest to find people to invite. I also gather names from some related interest lists like: 'healthy cooking', 'food and drink', 'peace and nonviolence', etc. That's how I do it and how I must have found you. ~ PT ~ Healer of each wounded warrior, Comforter of each fine woman, Guiding refrain over the blue water, Image-laden, sweet-sounding music! ~ The Book of the O'Connor Don, Irish text ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~> , " jamesbuchhorn " < jamesbuchhorn> wrote: > Hi.
