I hope you will find help in this group.

Congratulations on giving up red meat.

I think that if you do decide to give up all

meat you will find that getting more vegetables

and fruits in our daily diet will be very easy.

I think our current gov't standard that I hear

being promoted in the media is to

eat five servings of fruits and veggies a day.

Once you stop putting meat on your plate and

instead add some other vegetable or vegetable

based protein source, getting five servings will

seem quite the minimum.

Hello Everyone

 

My name is Lydia...My family and I have cut all red meat out of our

diets, and have considered becoming lacto-ovo vegetarians. My biggest

obstacle is to include more fruits and vegetables in our diet and I

would welcome any advice you could give me.
