Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe. I have never heard of Rapunzel brand veggie broth, but I certainly agree with you about how salty some brands are. Knorr is pretty good, and there is a kosher brand, of which the name escapes me, but it starts with a 'T'...and in my local healthfood store they sell veggie " beef-style " and " chicken-style " broth powders in salt-free versions in the store bulk bin section; I always keep a jar of each in my pantry~ so valuable for soups, stews and vegetarian gravy sauces. ~ feral ~ Truth is confirmed by inspection and delay; falsehood by haste and uncertainty. ~ Publius Cornelius Tacitus ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~> , " cheryll " <naturalist_44240> wrote: > > I prefer using Rapunzel no-salt boullion, or replace the > water/boullion cubes with veggie broth, and add sea salt to taste. > Some of those brands of veggie boullion are nothing but salt cubes - > nasty, and way too salty for me!
