RECIPE: Morning Broth

I came up with this little recipe when i wanted to experiment using vegemite for

a veggie broth.

 

1 cup hot water

1-1/2 teaspoons vegemite or marmite

3-5 sprays Braggs liquid aminos (if you want a little extra " salt " in the broth

instead of using soy sauce)

 

I periodically like making a broth out of this or a " chicken " broth using a

nutritional yeast seasoning blend (recipe found in the " uncheese cookbook " ).

Perfect for a morning pick me up to get some needed b-vitamins or to cut the

appetite a bit if you get hit with hunger pangs during the day, and you're

trying to lose weight. :) This broth can also be used for soup recipes calling

for beef broth like hot & sour soup or french onion soup. Just increase the

recipe as you need it.
