Cooking Mushrooms

I'm getting ready to start growing some portabellos and shitake

mushrooms. I prefer to sautee with butter and a little bit of garlic.

 

For a dessert type, take some shitakes, slice and sautee them in a

lightly buttered pan. Cook them longer than normal, and at the end,

add a drop or two of vanilla extract to each slice . . .wonderful!
