Guest guest
I'm in agreement with you. I was not singling out any particular members, all I'm saying is that any bible-bashing or whatever alleged anti-religious posts on this list were in response to earlier posts that were preaching a particular religious position. Therefore it would be most unfair for the religious folks to condemn the anti- religious posts but not have any problem with the original pro- religion posts. Certainly this all could have been avoided if people had kept their personal beliefs on the subject to themselves. But in everyone's defense, it can be a bit difficult to discuss vegetarianism independent of anything else going on in the world. Politics, economic conditions, religion, etc. all play a significant role in our access to and ability to eat vegetarian food. , Phil Musgrave <muskrat@m...> wrote: > Look, I'm very religious, but I have NEVER posted anything about my beliefs here other than to try to support someone who was obviously hurt by someone here (or in this sentence). My opinion? THIS IS A FOOD LIST - STICK TO THE TOPIC. 'Atheist or Believer' should not matter at all on this list, because NOBODY should know anything about other members of this group other than that they like vegetarian food. > > So, if everyone will just please please please stay on topic everyone will stay happy and nobody will ever be " offended " .
