Guest guest Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 A rendering plant is where they take all the discards, the place where the bones, hoofs, horns, discarded skin, gristle, and so on are made into a slurry to be fed to, yes, cows again, and other animals they raise. It's also added to fertilizer and used in other industrial processes.
