The only trouble I'm having is that it sounds too good to be true.

Look at this page, for instance, and notice the messianic tone:

It is an odd day when several Cobra gunships do not pass by.

I think the part of Sulfur being essential to collagen; skin, hair,

nails- is pretty well established. However, that site even admits

that most of the billion other things people take it for are

only " believed " to happen. Please keep in mind that many people also

believe that horoscopes give great advice and that personal anecdotes

should not be taken as scientific evidence of the effectiveness of

any remedy. They could well be experiencing the placebo effect or it

could just be that since things like pain, cramps, and stress are

usually temporary anyway, that they are simply connecting the

dissappearance of their symptoms with the MSM they started taking.

The site also claims that cooking or any other form of process

completely eradicates all sulfur from the many sulfur rich foods.

Isn't that just a tad convenient for the manufacturer of MSM? From

what I've read, sulfur isn't especially senstive to heat and is

depleted only slightly by cooking, as is the case with most

nutrients. And you could eliminate the problem by eating raw

radishes, or any of the other sulfur rich foods.

I'd also be extremely wary of any testimonials coming from health

magazines, because unlike professional medical science journals, they

make their money by advertising supplements. But no one ever listens

to me, so I'll just go sit in a corner eating cigarette butts.
