First Akward outing & video game

Sounds like you handled it well, Kevin. At least you didn't get the

curled lip expression to " I'm a vegetarian " proclamation (my fav non-

veggie look btw). My last B-B-Q threat was a few yrs ago when a

friend of mine had a coupon to a bbq place and wanted to eat there. I

explained that I'd rather choose another location b/c well I'm

vegetarian (like she didn't know this). She said well I'm sure

there's something you can get there. I was like, no I don't like cole

slaw, the baked beans surely have pork in them and I'm not gonna eat

french fries for dinner just so you can use a coupon. Needless to

say, we didn't dine together that evening.

 

Haven't tried the TGIFriday's veggie burger but Ruby Tuesday's is

just horrid. I'd rather have any of the fast food veggie burgers out

there or just eat the bun.

 

Meant to tell you guys that I tried out a really cute PS2 game over

the weekend called WhipLash. I didn't get through all the levels but

the basic premise is that you're a weasel chained to a rabbit (like

prisoners) and you're breaking out of a labaratory that tests on

animals. The rabbit has super-strength due to all that he has been

exposed to in the lab. You kill the lab techs that have been testing

on you and destroy their equipment. You even release the monkeys from

their cages and they go after the experimenters so you don't have to.

I'm sure many of you are anti-gaming systems, but I got a huge kick

out of this game.

PS2 rocks! I like to watch my youngest play the

games he has. This game you played sounds very

cool and vegfriendly themed, so I will ask him if he

has played it and no doubt we will rent it to give it

a try.
