Guest guest
Yeah, perhaps a bit. I think we can all agree that we are here because of a desire to not eat animals, and for some of us discussions on how people kill animals for food, and trying to wrap our minds around the ethical/morality issues of killing to eat, is really tough to swallow, pardon the pun. I know not everyone is veg for ethical reasons, and also that we do have some members on the list that do still eat meat, but this is a vegetarian list that is supposed to be a safe haven for discussions about vegetarianism, not the moral/ethical means of killing animals.... as in which meat eaters we find less repugnant or have more " respect " for. That just isn't what we are about here, and can end up getting just as out of hand as say arguing about who is the better, more moral/ethical vegetarian. I hope you can all understand my point on this. I request, as a moderator of this list, that any further discussion of meateaters (as in which are more respectable in their practices of killing animals) be taken offlist. Thank you all very much.
