Guest guest
I am in total agreement with this part of your post. I have more respect for those meat eaters who actually stalk (not in tree stands), hunt, clean and cook what they catch than for those who have outsourced the " hard/gory " part. He's from my home state of Michigan and is a hunter and a card-carrying member of the NRA too. I don't agree with those things, but honestly I have more respect for meat-eaters who can hunt, kill and butcher their own meat than I do for people who despise hunting, can't kill or butcher anything yet still buy and eat meat! (This is one of the reasons I had to become a vegetarian. It made no sense to me that I thought that meat was absolutely disgusting and that I could never kill or butcher anything or touch raw meat, but I could still eat it. It was a big contradiction to me!) >> " Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
