Leather Shoes (was Lacto-ov-hmmm?)

At least in terms of athletic shoes, I was very

surprised to discover that many models of high end

shoes no longer contain leather because leather

doesn't wear as well as the new synthetics, and the

new materials are much lighter than leather.

Obviously, check labels and contact the company if you

aren't sure, but I have a really nice pair of K-Swiss

that are all man-made materials, and was able to

select from a variety of different brands last time I

was shoe shopping.
