Spinach Artichoke Dip - RECIPE and Question

Hi there -

 

This is a great dip for parties and can be slightly healthier than

some other Superbowl Menu Items (for us in N.A.). Does anyone have

suggestions for a vegan alternative for sour cream? I'm ovo-lacto,

but I'd like to try making it vegan. Thanks!

 

Spinach Artichoke Dip

 

1 pkg frozen chopped spinach

1 can artichokes, drained and chopped

1 cup vegannaise

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup parmesan cheese or soycheese

2/3 cup mozzerella cheese or soycheese

1 Tbsp garlic salt

 

Cook spinach according to directions

 

Mix ingredients thoroughly in baking dish. Wipe off excess on top

and sides of dish.

 

Bake at 325 degrees 30 minutes or until top becomes golden brown.

 

Serve w/ pita chips, tortilla chips or other " dippy " items.
